TOP AP SCORE

Webber Academy received some good news from the Head of the Advanced Placement Program, Trevor Packer:

“I'm writing to share some exciting news about one of your students. Andreea Cobzaru's performance on the AP® Computer Science A Exam in May 2023 was so superior that it falls into a rather select category.

As you know, Advanced Placement® Exams are scored on a scale of 1 to 5. Andreea not only received the top score of 5, but was also one of only 91 students in the world to earn every point possible on the AP Computer Science A Exam, receiving the maximum score on each portion of the exam.

This outstanding accomplishment is likely a direct reflection of the top-quality education being offered at Webber Academy. We applaud Andreea's hard work and the AP teacher responsible for engaging students and enabling them to excel in a college-level course.”

Head of Senior School Christina Clouston writes, “this is the second year in a row that we have had a student score 100% on an AP exam. Andreea Cobzaru was in last year’s graduating class. In 2022, we had two students with perfect scores - Omar Hassan in Statistics (1 of 10 students worldwide) and Shawn Wang in Macroeconomics (1 of 49 students worldwide).” Congratultions on your efforts, Andreea!
