Grade 7 Girls Basketball
The Grade 7 Girls Basketball team had an incredible season of individual and team growth. They completed the season by earning bronze in the CISAA Tier 2 league. The girls also competed in the Heritage Christian Academy tournament, earning second place. The players grew tremendously over the season, and they should all be incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication they put into the season!

Grade 7 Boys Basketball
The Grade 7 Boys basketball team had an extremely successful season full of growth both individually and as a team. The team placed second in the HCA tournament. competing against a Grade 8 team in the final. After a successful showing during league games, the team clinched the CISAA Tier 1 banner.

Grade 8 Girls Basketball
Our Grade 8 Girls Basketball team completed the season by earning bronze in the CISAA Tier 1 league. The girls also competed in the Canmore Collegiate Grade 9 basketball tournament, where they won Silver. The team played with determination and grit all season! We are already looking forward to what next season brings!

Grade 8 Boys Basketball
The Grade 8 Boys Basketball team produced an impressive season, with teamwork and development the focus throughout the year. They placed first and second in both of their tournaments and earned their place in the Tier 1 CISSA championship game. After a close battle with their season nemesis, Glenmore Christian Academy, they had a narrow defeat to earn the silver medal for the League finals.

Grade 9 Girls Basketball
The Grade 9 Girls Basketball team had a hard fought season, competing in the CISAA Tier 1 league. Early on in the season, The team participated in the Canmore Collegiate Grade 9 basketball tournament, where they won gold. The girls also competed in the Black Diamond Oilfields tournament where they earned a bronze medal. The girls played with determination and made us proud by the good sportsmanship they consistently demonstrated. The girls are looking forward to the challenges of senior varsity next year!

Grade 9 Boys Basketball
The Grade 9 Boys Basketball team had a remarkable season which ended with a strong performance in the league championship game. This team should be proud of their 2nd place finish in the highly competitive Tier 1 division. The Wildcats earned an incredible record with 11 wins and only 3 losses over a lengthy season of play. For the first time in our team history the Wildcats secured home court for the playoffs by finishing the league in first place overall.

Jr. Varsity Boys Basketball
The JV Boys had a successful season this year. They had a number of strong showings, placing 2nd at both the Bearspaw and Airdrie tournaments while facing teams from across the province. Throughout the season they had many exciting games, including multiple come from behind, and last second wins, ultimately finishing 5th in the regular season after losing a play-in game in overtime. The team is looking forward to how they can further contribute to the future of the Wildcats Basketball program.

Sr. Varsity Girls Basketball
The Senior Varsity Girls basketball team had a season of growth and hard work. The girls developed their skills while competing in the CSHSAA Tip Off Tournament, The Oilfields High School Tournament, and the Strathcona-Tweedsmuir Tournament. The team finished the regular season in fourth place and faced Calgary French and International School in the quarter-final match. After taking the lead into the second half, CFIS scored some fourth quarter three-point shots to win the match. At the conclusion of the season, four athletes were selected to play in the CISAA All-Star Game. The team will be remembered for their positivity, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

Sr. Varsity Boys Basketball
The Senior Varsity Boy's Basketball team had an outstanding season, marked by remarkable achievements and incredible teamwork. The team won three tournaments and secured a bronze medal at the provincial championships in Peace River, the highest finish ever for our school. With an impressive overall record of 27 wins and 2 losses, the team remained undefeated in league play en route to the CISAA banner. The team's success was a result of their hard work, dedication, and exceptional leadership. The players showed incredible skill and sportsmanship, inspiring their fellow students and earning the respect of their opponents.
